Afro Fest Brno is an annual event that celebrates the rich and diverse African culture and tradition. Through food, music, dance, art  and fashion, it showcases both the historic and contemporary aspects of African heritage. The festival aims to inform, educate, and entertain visitors, while promoting cultural diversity and inclusion. It also strives to strengthen the sense of belongingness among members of the African diaspora and to foster community connections.

The festival also contributes to tourism development in Brno and attracts visitors from nearby cities such as Prague, Bratislava and Vienna. By presenting the cultural wealth of Africa, it supports intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.
